  • This is a great little replacement glass top for your percolator if it came with a plastic one like mine (B0009U5NEY) did. It fits different sized percolator top holes, and has a screw on metal bracket for under the lid so it still fastens to the lid nice and tight. And it will last much longer than the plastic one!

I bought these for my mom, who has a stove top percolator. After about a week, the 1st one cracked (I ordered 4, thanks to the suggestion of other reviewers). Although these are thin and seem to break easily, I haven’t been able to find a thicker, sturdier top, so I guess these will have to do.

I agree with the other reviewers – by several at once to avoid paying the shipping cost more than once.

this glass percolator top is perfect. I have used it on my Copco stove top Percolator for close to a year. It does not leak and is easy to remove if you need to do a detailed cleaning on it. I recommend removing the plastic ones that the percolator comes with and use this instead. I wash the percolator pieces in the dishwasher with the glass top and have not had any issues with it coming off. If it gets loose, you just tighten it back up.

It’s a necessary purchase, since the plastic tops that come on most stove-top percolators will fail. But the glass is too thin and won’t hold up. I’ve had two break in less than a year of careful use. (One shattered the first time hot water hit it. Nice.) Buy several, since the shipping charge is higher than the purchase price, and hope for the best.

I recently purchased a farberware stainless steel 8cup percolator. The only problem was, it came with a “plastic” top that was very cheap and flimsy. This Fitz-All “glass” percolator top was a nice replacement. It fits good, and is safer and more secure than a platic top. So glad I could find this product.
